You have completed step one ( Getting your FTP client) and Step 2 ( Registering a Domain Name). Next you need to get a website host to host your website. There are MANY opinions available, but I personally like 5dollar webs. They have a good affiliate plan, offer databases, and are very helpful.

5dollarwebs takes paypal or standard credit cards. We have chosen them because they have good support, are affordable, have a nice affiliate option available, offer mysqyl & php. In general are just a great first host! You by no means HAVE to go with them. However whichever Web Host company you chose should offer PHP support, A mysqyl database or two, and have good support.

After you have signed up as an affiliate, order your web hosting from your own referral page. This will give YOU your own commission. (Not a bad deal huh?)

After you make your payment you will be redirected to a form to fill out. You will need to tell them you have a NEW domain, and it's name. 5Dollarwebs will get back to you very shortly with an email. It will look just like this:
